Like other coffee growing areas in Kenya, Kirinyaga benefits from the rich volcanic terrain and favorable microclimate on the foothills of Mt Kenya. The Kiamugumo offers delightful sweet cola and sarsaparilla undertones. Blackcurrant notes give it some depth. It’s also quite a balanced coffee with lively orange acidity and a silky medium body.
